PosterFactory respects your privacy

We here at PosterFactory intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information. In general, you can visit PosterFactory without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are times, however, when we may need information from you. Visitor information is collected during the checkout process and may include: – your name, address, contact number(s) and email address – how you were referred onto PosterFactory – the industry &/or company you are with. If you choose to give us personal information via the Internet that we may need, e.g. to correspond with you it is our intent to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes.

The information PosterFactory gathers and tracks

PosterFactory gathers two types of information about users: data that users provide through optional, voluntary registration on our interactive features and through optional, voluntary participation in certain contests and surveys; and aggregated tracing information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. Such information enables us to better tailor our content to readers’ needs and to help us better understand the demographics of our audience.

PosterFactory gather user information in the following processes:
The use of IP addresses on PosterFactory

PosterFactory logs IP addresses for systems administration purposes. IP addresses are logged to track a user’s session. This gives PosterFactory an idea of which parts of our site users are visiting. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user’s session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous. We do keep track of the domains from which people visit us. We analyse this data for trends and statistics, and then we discard it.

Usage Tracking

PosterFactory tracks user traffic patterns throughout our entire site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about our individual users. PosterFactory does break down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser’s string (information contained in every user’s browser).

Interest-Based Online Advertising and Google Analytics

Posterfactory uses Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center Ads, AdRoll, Instagram and FacebookAds where audience data such as age, gender, and interests are gathered to better understand the behavior of our customers to provide advertising targeted to suit your interests and preferences. These companies also use automated technologies to collect information when you click on our ads, which helps track and manage the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

You may opt out of the automated collection of information by third-party ad networks for the purpose of delivering advertisements tailored to your interests, by visiting the consumer opt-out page for the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and edit or opt-out your Google Display Netowrk ads’ preferences at http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.

Hot Jar

Posterfactory uses Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimise this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices (in particular device’s IP address (captured and stored only in anonymised form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymised user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user. For further details, please see Hotjar’s privacy policy by clicking on this link.

You can opt-out to the creation of a user profile, Hotjar’s storing of data about your usage of our site and Hotjar’s use of tracking cookies on other websites by following this opt-out link.

SMS

We value your privacy and the information you consent to share in relation to our SMS marketing service. We use this information to send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us. Opt-in data and consent for text messaging will not be shared with any third parties except for messaging partners, for the purpose of enabling and operating our text messaging program.

Use of the information

PosterFactory uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalised elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users. As stated above, PosterFactory uses information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters and special broadcasts. We send out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (monthly), and occasionally send out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. PosterFactory never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties. When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas, PosterFactory does not track what individual users read but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us to continue to build a better service for you. We do not track search terms entered in our PosterFactory search facility.

Sharing of the information

PosterFactory uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and help us better understand our audience’s demographics. We do not share information about individual users with any third party.

PosterFactory offers users the ability to correct or change information collected during registration for any interactive area. Users may change this information at any time and as often as necessary. Users who are experiencing problems or who have any questions about how our services work can contact us on: 1800 606 682.
